8:45 – 9am – Report

9am – 9:20 – Stretch and flex

9:25 – 9:45 – Throwing mechanics and long toss introduction

9:50 – 10:00 – Position breakdown, Pitchers delivery

10:05 – 10:35 – fungo work, catching drills, pitchers drills

10:45 – 11:00 – Hitting and Pitching discussion

11:05 – 11:45 – Cage work/Pitcher routines

11:45 – 12:30 – Lunch

12:35 – 2pm – Live batting practice

2:05 – 2:15 – Base running/Pitchers weekly routine

2:20 – 2:30 – Conditioning the body for success

2:35 – 2:45 – What is a prospect?

2:50 – 3:00 – What makes a prospect – College and Pro?

3:05 – Close of clinic – Preview of Sunday

Welcome to the Pro’s Select Collegiate Clinic

……….. A note from the Director

If you are looking for a chance to interact with college coaches and pro scouts, then the Pro’s Select Collegiate Clinic is the opportunity for you.  The Pro’s Select Collegiate Clinic, while instructional in nature, is designed to not only improve the skill level of each player, but also provide the unique opportunity to informally interact with coaches and pro scouts to better understand what is necessary to continue playing after high school.

We will provide a professional atmosphere to learn about collegiate and professional baseball. College coaches and professional scouts will instruct, give recruiting and scouting information and interact with the players during the clinic. Each coach or pro scout understands how to teach the game and allow the individual to work with their strengths to improve their game. At the end of the clinic, each clinic attendee will receive a confidential evaluation of their abilities from our pro scouts.

I have been a coach in the Southeastern conference, a Head Coach at the Community College level and I have had the great fortune to be in professional baseball as a scout since 1997. I understand what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of collegiate and professional baseball. I believe that the Pro’s Select Collegiate Clinic will provide a professional atmosphere with outstanding instruction. If your baseball player wants to learn and interact with college coaches and professional scouts, he will find no better clinic than what I’ve put together.
